Rehearsal space is hard to come by. Between fitting in run throughs around class times and not having anywhere to rehearse a full routine without bumping into furniture, most performers end up rehearsing in their living room. Our Open Studio Rehearsal sessions gives you the studio, the mirrors, and the floor space to actually put your number together properly, with other performers doing the same thing around you.
 
Whether you're prepping for a show, cleaning up choreo from class, or just need a quiet corner to sort your music and admin, this is your time to use however you need it.
 
What it’s for:
Rehearsing your solo with mirrors
Cleaning up choreography from class
A dedicated time to edit music, finish admin, or work on costuming
 
How it works:
We all share the studio floor at the same time, with a Bombshell Academy on tutor on site to open the space and serve as a “hall monitor”
Sessions are strictly limited in numbers so that everyone has room to move, so book ahead to secure your spot
Anyone can book in to rehearse – you don’t need to be a current Bombshell student or be working on Bombshell content
So that we all get the most out of the time, please bring your headphones for solo work, or a Bluetooth speaker to run at a considerate level for group rehearsals. The PA will not be in use during these sessions.
 
Things to keep in mind:
The Bombshell Academy tutor is on site to manage the space only. This is supervised open rehearsal time, not a class
No private tuition can be conducted during this time, including between attendees
No danger acts (fire, aerial, or anything needing a spotter) can be rehearsed during this session
The mirrored floor is for rehearsing, so please save picnics and long chats for after
We share this building with other businesses, so no rehearsing or congregating outside or on the balcony
If you are costuming, please don’t use glues with fumes in the studio eg e6000, b7000
Please clean up any mess, and leave the studio as you found it
If you are filming content in the space, please obtain consent from anyone in the background, and tag Bombshell Burlesque as your location when you post
Please respect others sharing the space, and follow any directions from the tutor in charge
 
 
How to book:
Open Studio Rehearsals are $30 for a 2 hour session, or $125 for a 5 pack of sessions
On arrival, please show your receipt to the tutor
Each person will need to have their own booking, so troupes, groups, and duos rehearsing together need to book a spot per person
Single sessions can't be credited or moved to a different date, but you can hand your spot to someone else, just let us know the new name and have them present their receipt on arrival.
Pack of 5 sessions cannot be shared between multiple people at different sessions.
