Get ready to strut, shimmy and shine in this upbeat burlesque routine inspired by the glitter and groove of the glam rock era!  Set to Electric Light Orchestra’s iconic Don’t Bring Me Down, this upbeat routine combines the sultry attitude of traditional bump and grind with the bold energy of a rock concert.  You’ll learn classic burlesque moves with a playful twist, designed to build confidence, stage presence and superstar attitude!  Perfect for first-timers and those looking to unleash their inner rock goddess – no experience necessary, just sass and a sense of fun!

This term, we're turning up the heat with a little Crazy Horse Paris flair and a whole lot of 90s attitude. Martini McFly leads you through sleek, sensual choreography set to the dancefloor classic Be My Lover by La Bouche. Think sharp showgirl lines, bold silhouettes, and just enough skin to keep it cheeky. It's glam, it's glossy, and your body is the masterpiece. Come ready to pose, peel, and perfect your power.

Feeling fabulous… but also kinda horizontal? This term, Martini McFly invites you to embrace the art of doing the absolute least—while still looking like a million bucks. Lazy Glamour is all silky gowns, sultry glances, and choreography that oozes elegance with half the effort. Set to the swoony sounds of Lullaby of Birdland, this routine is made for divas who know how to lounge in style. Sleep masks optional. Attitude required.

Step back in time to the golden age of burlesque to learn those all important and fun cornerstone moves. Bump, grind, peel and pose through an energetic class while learning a routine to ‘The Man With Golden Arm’ by Barry Adamson. Get ready to shimmy shake, wiggle jiggle, twirl and swirl like a burlesque star from yesteryear!

NEO CHAIRDANCE

Bring out your inner sexy and learn sultry moves that are sure to heat up any dance floor…or chair, rather! This class takes you through the art of seduction as you learn how to work the chair in ways that will make anyone’s jaw drop. Learn basic to intermediate skills in chair moves and manipulation with a focus on attitude with a routine to the song 'Slippage' by Goldfrapp. Take a seat... then work it!

This class will have you dripping in glamour as you master fluid, sensual movements with an emphasis on shimmering elegance and dramatic poses—perfect for experienced showgirls who want to bring some extra sparkle to the stage!

Slow… sensual… smouldering hot. This is a class that simmers. Join Magnolia Knife for a sultry striptease choreographed to It’s in the Blood by Red Rosamond—a track that drips with drama and desire. You'll explore the power of pause, the electricity of eye contact, and the magnetism that comes from moving with intention. Through breath work and body awareness, you’ll unlock the slow, deliberate burn of classic seduction. This is not about rushing to the reveal—it’s about letting the tension build until it’s impossible to look away. Come prepared to take your time, take up space, and set the stage on fire.

CHAIRDANCE INFERNO

Do you want your chair to catch fire onstage? Phoenix Knight presents a fiery chair routine to Halsey’s Not Afraid Anymore, that is designed to test both your Stefan and your ability not to spontaneously combust. With choreography that will use every inch of your chair and the floor beside it, come and burn the floor with an intermediate/advanced routine that will make the audience’s temperature rise.

POODLE PLAY

Burlesque poodles! How fetching! Fluff up your curls and wag those tails—it’s time to unleash your inner showpup! In this poodle-themed neo-burlesque class, we’re serving up sassy struts, cheeky tease and playful Parisian puppy styling! Set against the flirtatious melody of 'Zou Bisou Bisou' by Gillian Hills, in this fun class Mara Maraschino will teach you the fundamentals of burlesque tease, how to demand attention and embrace your stage persona. Expect fun, glamour and wow factor!

THE VOCAL STRIP-DOWN

Ready to discover the raw, radiant power of your voice - aka singing your goddamned heart out? Join powerhouse performer Lizzie Moore for a joyful, no-pressure intro to singing that’s all about unleashing what’s already inside you. Whether you’re a total newbie or someone who’s dabbled before, you’ll dive into foundational vocal technique, get cozy with your vocal anatomy, and start uncovering your own unique sound and style. Think less “perfect pitch,” more “full-body freedom.” This class is about expression, exploration, and letting that voice rip. Come as you are - no experience needed, just a willingness to make some noise and have some fun.

HEADLINERS: Act Development Masterclass

Are you ready to create your burlesque persona and make your solo debut at The Bombshell’s Ball?

This masterclass is designed for students with several burlesque classes under their belts; the ones who are on the cusp of creating a solo act and hitting stages! This class is ideal for soloists, duos or groups who want to create a new act or polish an existing one. During the course, your tutor will work one on one with you to bring out your performance potential, guiding you step by step through act creation while developing your onstage persona. Headliners also includes practical theory on how to get booked, managing social media, budgeting, building an effective website and more! 

Please note: Headliners is not suitable for aerial, pole, wet mess, large prop, or sideshow/danger act development.

Join Citrine for Intermediate Low & Slow—a sultry, smooth floorwork class set to Victoria Monét’s steamy track “Cadillac.” This routine glides like leather seats and purrs like a V8, with slow, intentional movements that ooze control, confidence, and sensuality.

We’ll melt into the floor with deep rolls, slick transitions, and curves that cruise. Strap in, slide down, and take your time—this ride’s all about moving smooth and feeling fine.

Join Summer Dragonfly in a fun, welcoming space where you'll learn the basics of the tease—from walking with poise and attitude to classic bump and grind technique.

This term, we’re throwing it back to the burlesque carnival circuit. Picture this: the tent is packed, the barkers are hollering, and the rock and roll is so loud it’s shaking the velvet curtains. You're centre stage, ready to strut, shake, and unleash your inner showgirl to Black Betty (Grindhouse Soundtrack version). Raw, raunchy, and ridiculously fun—this is burlesque with a side of sawdust and sequins.

Private coaching can often be the key to taking your concept or stage persona to the next level!

These sessions can focus on narrative, choreography development, presentation & performance skills, polishing and refining an existing act, creating a new routine or competition prep. Past students coached by our tutors include winners of Miss Burlesque Queensland, Miss Burlesque Brisbane, Miss Burlesque Gold Coast, Miss Burlesque Perth, Burlesque Idol Brisbane, Burlesque Idol Newcastle, title holders of the Miss Pinup Australia competition and many more.

Whether you are working on an existing act, creating something new, developing your persona or preparing for competition season our tutors are here to help you think out of the box, calm your nerves, meet criteria and have you bumping and grinding bigger and better than ever!

IN STUDIO PRIVATE LESSONS: $120 per 1hr session.
