Every fashionista dreams of being laced into the iconic shapes of a Jean Paul Gaultier corset – this is your once in a lifetime opportunity to do exact that!

Thanks to our friends at Brisbane Festival, The Bombshell Burlesque Academy & KTB are offering Brisbane fashion and glamour enthusiasts the opportunity to be photographed wearing an iconic piece from Jean Paul Gaultier's Fashion Freak Show!

​

Create strikingly bold fashion images in these looks with KTB, one of Queensland’s most creative photographers, who will tailor each portrait with vibrant lighting on block colour backgrounds to highlight you, and your Jean Paul Gaultier garment! Lila Luxx of Bombshell Burlesque will guide you through dressing and posing to get the most out of your shoot!

We have access to 4 stunning creations to shoot in – a dusty pink corseted body suit with quilted front panels and iconic conical cups, a peach knee length hobble dress with delicate gold detailing, and a duo of pink long line corsets attached to each other by ribbons for those wishing to shoot with a friend!

​

Due to the origin of these garments, the sizing is not as inclusive as our regular offerings, and are best suited for approximately an Australian size 8.

Zips can be left open for a little more room, and we can also delicately clip the back in for a more snug fit.

1. Dusty Pink Corseted Body suit with quilted front panels and iconic conical cups

  • Underbust approx. 72cm

  • Waist approx. 64 cm

  • Note: the decorative lacing on back conceals a zip so sizing cannot be altered like regular corsets

 

2. Peach Knee Length hobble dress with delicate gold detailing

  • Underbust approx. 66cm

  • Waist approx. 64cm

  • Hip approx. 88cm

  • Long zips on each side, split to waist

  • Note: the decorative lacing on back conceals a zip so sizing cannot be altered like regular corsets

 

3.  Duo look – 2 Pink Long line Corsets with detailed front panels and iconic conical cups, attached to each other with corset ribbons

  • Underbust approx. 64cm

  • Waist approx. 60cm plus lacing allowance

  • Hip approx. 74cm plus lacing allowance

  • Real lacing on both sides – inside panel is stretch lacing that connects the corsets together.

As a stunning bonus, the first 5 bookings will receive a double pass to Jean Paul Gaultier's Fashion Freak Show at Brisbane Festival on Sunday 1st September 2024 at no additional cost! Please note: the double pass offer has been exhausted and is no longer available.

 

WEAR: Nude thong/brief and nude pasties if desired. Bring shoes, and any other accessories you fancy.  Please arrive with your hair and makeup done.

 

PHOTOS: Two edited images included in this photoshoot package.

You will receive a gallery of your best photos via email within two weeks of the event to choose your favourite images. The two images included in this package will include full glamour editing to bring out your glamorous best and emailed to you in high res format within a maximum of 4 weeks.

 

ADDITIONAL PHOTOS & EDITING: Your package includes 2 images with glamour editing; however you’re welcome to purchase additional photos at a cost of $70 for each additional image with glamour editing or $197 for an additional 3 images.

 

 

FAQS:

 

Will I still look like me after Glamour Editing?

We will never alter your body shape in Photoshop without specifically being asked. If there are particular areas of your body you would feel more comfortable in removing or reshaping (chin, waist, legs, arms, neck) please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Glamour editing will still always include skin retouching, smoothing pigmentation and removing some sunmarks, removing or softening hair flyaways, brightening of eyes and enhancing parts of the body with lighting and studio background cleanup.

 

Can you cover my bra straps and bruises?

Yes, glamour retouching is our standard for our Portrait sessions.

 

Can you change the colour of my outfit?

Usually, yes, but please check with us first. Requests from dark to light are usually not as simple.

 

 

Jean Paul Gaultier Freak Fashion Portrait Series

Includes photo shoot in a Jean Paul Gaultier garment with pose coaching for one guest or two guests where duo set has been chosen, and 2 edited hi-res digital images.

 

Cost:  Single shoot $299, Duo shoot $399.
